Urbanistics Block Party 2026

On Saturday 23 May, the 5th edition of Urbanistics will take place at Campus Nieuwland. During this free festival, young and old can dive all day into a wide range of urban disciplines. On the programme: workshops breakdance & MC’ing, battles, performances by the Fanfakids and UCB Crew and much more!

Urbanistics Blockparty is an annual festival dedicated to urban culture which, since 2022, has established itself as a key event in the Dutch-speaking youth, cultural and sporting scene in Brussels. The event brings together young people, coaches, professional artists and local residents around disciplines such as breakdancing, music and street art.

Through this festival, Urban Center Brussel and MetX offer Brussels’ local dance talents a visible and professional platform through workshops, battles, performances and creative collaborations. As in previous years, Breaking Vlaanderen is also organising the Brussels pre-selections for its Legacy League.
