re#encounter joins MetX

As from 2026, you also find the hybrid trance jazz collective re#encounter among our productions. At the end of 2023, Robbe Bey Latré was given carte blanche by MetX to bring together some of the most inspiring voices from the Brussels jazz and world music scene. The group, featuring Hicham Bilali, Lucia Pires, Kaito Winse and Falk Schrauwen, has gradually built up a repertoire and an audience through hybrid concerts, jam sessions and urban rituals of all kinds. In September, their debut album Angels & Demons @ Play will be released on W.E.R.F. Records, a thrilling mix of Gnawa grooves, cumbia songs, griot stories and ecstatic improvisations.
